Beautiful Lamps You are Going to Love

This week I kicked off the makeover of my home office. (You can read the posts here and here.) One of the items on my project list is to purchase new lamps. Today I am sharing some of the really beautiful lamps that I have found during my search for new lamps for my home.

My favorite lamp ever is the double gourd lamp set that is in my master bedroom. The lamps are tall and consist of cut class gourds. Originally, I purchased the set for the sideboard in the dining room. I loved them so much that I moved them upstairs so I could enjoy them more frequently.

I missed the extra light the lamps provide in the dining room so I moved the guest room lamps downstairs. I wasn’t sure that the white lamps on a white cabinet with white trim on the wall would work. However, they actually look quite lovely.

This weekend I found two Kate Spade navy blue and white lamps for $40 each at Home Goods. They are so cute. My only concern is that they much smaller than the lamps that I typically gravitate toward. I am on the fence about whether or not I am going to keep them.

LET’S TALK LAMPS

I have been searching for lamps for my office for about 3 months. I have looked at so many stores online and visited a number of brick and mortar locations. After so much time looking at the options available, I still have not made a decision.

Lamps are a great way to add additional light as well as a decor element to a room. Choose a colorful lamp to add a pop of color. Add a reflective glass lamp to bring in light without distracting from a beautiful piece of furniture. Add a lamp with a neutral tone to use for years to come.

Right now, my favorite is number 4. This lamp is a knock-off of a Bunny Williams design and is the fraction of the cost. I think it might even be a little prettier than her swirl painted lamp.

Which lamp is your favorite?
