Organization Porn to Soothe Your Inner Neat Freak

Last month the husband and I finished our second One Room Challenge. We renovated our guest room over the period of six weeks. (You can read the final reveal here.) During the course of this project, the rest of our house got a little neglected. Our guest room looks amazing, but we are burned out.  It has been about a month since the project ended and we still have a couple of rooms in our house that are a bit neglected.  For the most part, we just close our eyes and run past those spaces.

Sometimes life gets in the way and you have to re-prioritize the things that are most important to you. For the husband and I, we have been making time to exercise so laundry is a bit behind. We have been eating out less so the kitchen is messier than normal.  There might even be a few pairs of shoes at the front door.

Although we are not ready to get back into our old routine, we still love the look of neatly organized spaces.  For those of you that feel the same way, I have compiled some organization porn to soothe your inner neat freak.

ORGANIZATION PORN

Have a messy closet or a ton of dirty laundry?  Maybe even a chair in your bedroom with clothes piled on it.  Forget all that mess!  Allow these photos of beautifully organized closets and drawers bring you inner peace.

Are there dirty dishes in your sink?  Maybe a dishwasher with clean dishes that needs to be unloaded?  Ignore the fact that you still need to take out the trash and go to the grocery store.  Let these photos of an organized pantry and kitchen cabinets bring you calm.

Forget that you have a toilet that needs to be cleaned and dried tooth paste in the sink.  Instead, find your inner calm with these well stocked and organized linen closets.

Is your craft room or home office just a pile of items that need to be put away or filed?  Forget about your to-do list and feast your eyes on these lovely organized spaces.

Do you have a pile of shoes at your garage door?  Maybe a garage with tools leaning against the wall with stacks of boxes blocking a path to them?  Close the door and head down the hallway of denial while looking at this photo of a very clean garage entry way.
