THE DRINK | KAHLUA AND COFFEE
Today I got into the advent calendar early. Like right after I woke up and before I drank my first cup of coffee early. I have had a cold for most of the week. It has rained every single day. The husband and I have been trying to work on our master bathroom, but the odds have ever been against us. With all the rain keeping us from being able to cut the board and batten for the bathroom and our colds, I feel like I had earned an early morning drink.
For today’s drink, I brewed myself a latte, espresso with steamed milk. I used almond milk because I think it tastes much better than regular milk. That is saying a lot from me considering how much I love milk. So I made a latte and poured one ounce of Kahlua to the mixture to create happy juice. It was a great way to start the day and an exceptional way to end the advent calendar.
The Drink
