A FEW FUN THINGS FOR THIS WEEKEND
Baby watch continues! Meghan Markle could have her baby any day now. Her original due date was in April. We are now at May 3rd. There were sightings of a private ambulance arriving at Meghan and Harry’s home with police escort yesterday. We could have a new royal baby this weekend!
Tomorrow is May 4th, Star Wars day. Check out this photo of me from five years ago. It was taken during Dragon Con weekend here in Atlanta. The husband and I ran into the storm trooper when leaving dinner. What was even more fun, I had dinner next to someone dressed as Captain Kirk. That was a missed photo opportunity.
If you are a fan of the Star Wars saga, TBS will be showing Star Wars movies all day. The husband and I plan to watch a couple in the evening. I am even going to wear my Star Wars t-shirt. Watch for photos on Facebook and Instagram tomorrow.
Sunday is Cinco de Mayo. The husband and I have planned to make barbacoa tacos. We also intend to partake in a few margaritas.
PROJECT UPDATES
This evening I am getting my eyes checked. I am really excited because I want new glasses. I have a black pair, but I would love to have a pair in tortoiseshell print for when I wear lighter colors. If it has been more than a year since you have had your eyes checked, here is a reminder to make an appointment.
Tomorrow the husband and I will be finalizing the design plan for our kitchen remodel. I plan to share all the details with you next week. After we have a final design plan, it will take approximately 12 weeks for the cabinets to be built, delivered, and installed. During that time, I will need to pick out hardware, a faucet, a sink, new appliances, etc. I am hoping that you will come along during the process!
Tomorrow the husband and I are also going to see the new Avengers movie. We both subscribe to the AMC A-List move pass. It is a pass to see 3 movies a week in any platform for about $20 a month: 3D, IMAX, IMAX 3-D, etc. We love it. We try to see at least one movie a week. This week’s new releases are Long Shot, The Intruder, and Ugly Dolls.
We are continuing to work on our master bedroom makeover. This is week 5 and we have only one more week to go before the final reveal! We are winding down, but there is still work to do. I will be sharing all the details Monday.
