I love spring. It is such a great time of the year. It isn’t too hot. It isn’t too cold. Flowers are blooming. And there are pastels. Lots and lots of pastels.
I haven’t started making any decor updates for the new season. I am considering a new throw blanket and maybe some new pillows for the living room. Maybe something in a lovely shade of mauve or pink? I am even considering some new plants to liven up the house, even though I know I will kill them before summer. While I am trying to decide what updates I would like to make for spring, I am sharing some bright and light spring decor inspiration. I hope you feel inspired by these beautiful rooms!
LIGHT & BRIGHT ENTRY WAYS
One of my favorite ways to add a dash of spring to a space is flowers. Flowers look great on a wreath or even in a vase.
LIGHT & BRIGHT LIVING ROOMS
You don’t have to wall paper your walls to brighten up your living room. You can sew new pillow cases, or pick some up, like this one or this one.
LIGHT & BRIGHT DINING ROOMS
Brighten up your dining room table with live plants, chair covers, fabric napkins, or a table runner. Want to do something a little more? Add a mirror over your sideboard to reflect extra light.
LIGHT & BRIGHT BEDROOMS
I spend a lot of time in my bedroom. The husband and I watch tv there. I write for the blog there. And we sleep there, too. Since we spend so much time in our room, I like to look cheery. I have flowers on my night stand with a matching candle. (And the candle smells nice, too!) You can make easy updates to your bedroom by changing up the throw pillows, adding some fresh flowers to your night stand, or adding a new picture frame. Don’t forget to open the windows to let in the bright sunshine!
LIGHT & BRIGHT BATHROOMS
Bathrooms – the least decorated space of most homes. You can add a little spring cheer to your bathroom by picking up a new hand soap, replacing the hand towels, and, you guessed it, adding flowers.
I am in love with each of these spaces. They are so beautiful! Even if you don’t have plans to make any changes to your decor for spring, I hope you enjoyed the decor eye candy!
