THE DRINK | CHOCOLATE PIE MARTINI
I was at a bit of a loss for what to do with the whipped cream flavored vodka that wasn’t exactly like something else that I had already made. I had to get creative. I started thinking about what items traditionally are served with whipped cream. One idea that I fell in love with was an apple pie. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the ingredients on hand to make anything that would taste nice. I had to pivot. I liked the pie theme. And then I thought: chocolate pie!
For the drink, I mixed one part Veil Whipped Cream flavored vodka with 3 parts of hot chocolate made with almond milk. I served it in a martini glass garnished with fresh whipped cream.
