THE DRINK | TEQUILA ROCKS
Up to this point, I have not had a lot of big girl drinks. Most of the liquors in the advent calendar I selected and have known they were coming. However, there are others that my husband picked out for me. Those drinks he likes to call “real man” drinks. This is a funny concept considering I am by no means man-like. Not. Even. A. Little.
The husband is attempting to broaden my drinking range. Today was a challenge. My issue was not that I didn’t like tequila. I love tequila. I can’t say that I love a tequila only drink. In order to get today’s tequila rocks down, I had to lick salt on my hand, take a large sip, and suck on a lime wedge. It felt more like drinking a shot than enjoying a drink. I suppose that is what I get for letting my husband play with my advent calendar line up.
For the drink, I mixed one shot of tequila. I served it in a rocks glass with a lime wedge.
